Yorkshire Post puts Garness Jones Agency Director Paul White on the spot

The past, present and future of the Yorkshire and Humber property scene came under the spotlight as an expert from Garness Jones was invited to give his views to one of the region’s leading media organisations.

Paul White, Agency Director at Garness Jones, made some professional predictions in the Yorkshire Post’s Property People column and also revealed some personal preferences.

Paul told the Yorkshire Post that he expects the buoyancy of the last 12 to 24 months to continue, with a growing desire among employers to improve the working environment.

He also suggested that city centre businesses can benefit from the trend towards conversion of offices to create residential opportunities.

To illustrate his points Paul highlighted the improvements carried out by Allenby Commercial at Worx, where new tenants include Arco, a gym, a children’s nursery and an indoor climbing centre.

He also referenced King William House, which will provide a mix of residential and commercial space.

Paul picked Hull Minster as his favourite building for its history and for the transformation to create top quality event space.

Asked to reveal the sources of his inspiration, Paul underlined his passion for football, selecting his dad Barry, a former goalkeeper and occasional at centre half for Hull City and Halifax Town, and former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
