Since the lockdown began we have carried out desktop only valuations and valuations of vacant properties where keys have been provided or no contact with individuals has been necessary.
Our agency departments are providing as much of their usual level of service as possible within the restrictions and it would so far appear that there is still an appetite for property within the region and a willingness from parties to progress transactions wherever possible.
This enables us to monitor the movement within the market in terms of price – something we are sure everybody will be interested in as matters progress.
We believe this puts us in an excellent position to provide further advice on a formal or informal basis as the lockdown continues, or is hopefully relaxed.
