Garness Jones is proud to have played a major role in attracting millions of pounds worth of investment into the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire economy – helping businesses thrive and create thousands of jobs.
From undertaking valuations and appraisals of investment opportunities to using our in-depth knowledge of the local market and planning issues, our team is always actively brokering deals for land and buildings.
As the selected agent on many developments of significant strategic importance across the region, we have seen growing confidence from national businesses, investors and developers.
With nearby airports and excellent road networks to major UK cities, successful and thriving ports on both banks of the Humber and many sites boasting Enterprise Zones status, our region remains prime for investment – and a land of opportunity for investors and developers.

Our development team are agents for the 200 acres Melton West business park development in East Yorkshire, which is now one of Yorkshire’s largest commercial sites and benefits from Enterprise Zone Status, with the potential to be home to 5,000 jobs.
£6m refurbishment of an historic city centre building
The historic King William House in Hull city centre is being transformed by a £6m investment, turning a derelict and empty property into a mix of residential, retail and leisure facilities, with our team leading the marketing of spaces for bars, restaurants and a number of large leisure units.
Sale of thriving Business Park to new owners
Our team acted as joint agents in a deal which completed in July 2019 and saw 50,000 sq.ft of fully occupied industrial space on a thriving business park sold to new owners. Priory Tec Park was sold to Lincoln-based property investor Castle Square Developments by Allenby Commercial, for an undisclosed sum.
Inward investment into 124-acre industrial park
We were appointed to market and manage the development of the 124-acre Humber Gate industrial park development on the south bank of the River Humber in Grimsby. The site, which has Enterprise Zone status, boasts plots ranging from just under half an acre to nearly 20 acres, suitable for heavy industrial uses, manufacturing, logistics, open storage and renewable energy.
